Feel like you've tried everything to heal your gut?

If you've stumbled across this page because you've tried just about everything to fix your gut...

But you're still feeling bloated all day, refluxy, gassy, having bathroom episodes, cramping, or constipated beyond....

You are absolutely in the right place💡

What causes gut issues?

While there is typically not ONE thing, certain events can absolutely turn the tide and tip the scales. Quite often, when I hear all your gut stories, most of you have mild symptoms (like upset tummy or constipation as a kid), intermittent bloating or bathroom episodes, that progressively get worse over the years, until you get to where you are now.

A long history of gut symptoms, even mild ones, means this issue has been brewing for a long time, and didn't come out of nowhere. Your symptoms now are a likely a loud message from the body that it's time to put your gut health first 💪

Microbiome chaos

Medications, viral illness, travelers diarrhea, surgery, birth can cause major microbiome disruptions that are difficult to recover from without dedicated support.

Major dietary shifts

Restrictive diets, cutting entire groups like legumes, cruciferous, FODMAPS, going high protein/low carb, can all shift the microbiome in a negative way.

Long-term stressors

Long periods of chronic stress: 12-hour workdays, moving, financial stress, having kids, getting sick, caring for loved ones, overtraining, can all shift the microbiome as well.

Environmental exposures

Certain types of environmental exposures can harm the microbiome. Pesticides, mycotoxins, and heavy metals frequently create imbalances that lead to symptoms.

Why haven't you healed yet?

Gut issues are not solved (long-term) by removing foods, taking more supplements, taking a ton of probiotics, herbs, leaky gut powders, etc.

A low FODMAP diet simply reduces gas levels. It doesn't fix the reason people react to FODMAPs.

The way the gut actually heals is through fixing its inhabitants (microbiome) and its function.

Mistake #1

Removing more and more foods.

This further weakens the gut ecosystem & takes you in the opposite direction you want = eat freely without symptoms.

All the research we have to-date shows that food diversity & variety is the way.

Mistake #2

Taking endless harsh herbs.

Like berberine and oregano - thinking you just need to keep killing bacteria in order to heal.

This approach harms the microbiome and leaves people worse off than they started.

So what should you do instead?

01

Map your microbiome

We can't change what we can't see. Most testing being used to measure the microbiome looks at a very small (50-80) list of species. Microbiome analysis requires a full dataset, not a snapshot, so knowing where you are is the first step.

02

Address the gut-brain connection

Strengthening and re-programming this connection is absolutely essential. In order to have a gut that can tolerate changes (like new foods), we have to cool the fire inside by working with the most powerful organ in your body = the brain.

03

Shift the microbiome

Based on data & without harming the microbiome further. Slowly, strategically, and in progressively more powerful steps. This is where expert support and guidance is helpful, because it's the one step you can't skip, and it's the one step where people get stuck without support.

04

Expand the diet

There isn't actually a way to "heal the gut" without expanding the diet and eating lots of fiber💡. If you want a strong gut barrier, balanced immune function, incredible motility, easy stools, and no pain, dietary expansion (fiber-rich) is the way to get there. If this scares you, don't worry. We've walked 100+ people through this process and it doesn't have to be hard <3

05

Maintain and live!

Once you build a resilient gut, you don't actually have to revolve your life around it 24-7. You can travel, eat out, have stressful times, slip up on "habits" here and there, and still live symptom-free. This is totally possible (I see it happen daily) IF you continue to care for your microbiome each day.
